CranioSacral Therapy

Remember the old game of telephone children used to play with two tin cans connected to each other by a rope? This is the same type of communication that occurs within the body through the meningeal system, from the cranium down the spinal cord to the sacrum. The cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) passes between two layers of the meninges and thus slowly circulates over the central nervous system. CST is a safe and non-invasive technique that brings with it many lasting and beneficial results. In fact it is the one therapy that helped me when I had back problems, which led me add it into my animal therapy catalogue.

A physical trauma can have an adversely effect on the entire system which can result in sensory, motor and other dysfunction. By gently moving with the natural rhytm of your cerebral spinal fluid and bones of the cranium, self healing and release of tension can occur with long lasting effects.

The benefits are:

  • Reduce pain, swelling and discomfort post injury/ surgery.
  • Minimize the effects of trauma.
  • Improve flexibility and mobility.
  • Increase speed of recovery.
  • Promote well being.

“Nicole is such a beautiful woman with an incredibly kind and gentle soul. Her ability to connect with, nurture and heal animals is truly amazing and stems from her deep love and respect for them. After a distance Reiki session with Nicole, our fur baby adopted this new favourite position, she is very relaxed!
